Condemned
impressedCurrently playing Condemned. First I thought it was awesome, but now it begins to freak me out. I'm playing it by myself and I feel like screaming every single second, because it feels like something is about to jump into my face. It's creepy, but cool. Though I'm not sure if I have the guts to continue it.
I keep pressing the Pause button, because I'm truelly scared. Not the same way as if you play Silent Hill or Project Zero. This is way different and WAY more creepy, since it's First Person Shooter. Personaly I have never been good at FPS, because it simple scares the hell out of me. I talked with a guy who works in a store near my working place, he was actually the one who made me BUY it. But that guy even told me, that he had to play it with atleast three of his own friends before he could even play it. And that comes from a 22 year old guy. And me? I'm 17, playing this by myself and try to look calm at the game, but then again... I want to scream and just turn it off.
So far is the plot alright. I like the into of how you really get into the story, and I love the tools you have to use to check dead bodies. It's creepy and at the head you had to check just in the start. I felt like that head was going to look at me as I scanned it.
As for the graphics.. In my eyes then it's okay, but if you think about X360 graphic of like.. Devil May Cry, Dead or Alive, then Condemned could have got abit more love into it. I love the backgrounds in the playgame, but when a cutscene comes and you see the characters... No, then I'm not too happy about it.
I'm going to get Condemned 2 when it comes out. Just to try and see if the graphics got better and what new things that came. I remember I did looked at this game on YouTube, before even knowing it, and there was a part that made me freak out so I pretty much forgot it.
Though, so far lovely game. Needed abit more love into the graphics, but otherwise it's good. They found the right atmosphere for it. The sounds are really creepy as well, and you truelly feel like something is watching over you.
